Substance Abuse Prevention Program
Sandhills Behavioral Center, Inc. participates in this nationally recognized program. The Substance Abuse Prevention Program largely involves educational activities and awareness campaigns in substance abuse. Among the most common topics handled by this program include abuse of alcohol and drugs, behavioral health, intervention, treatment and rehabilitation.
While other programs deal with the problem after it has occurred, this program is engaged in creating an awareness buffer that prevents potential substance abusers from acquiring self-destructive habits which can harm other people and themselves.
The program focuses on promoting personal growth and the development of abilities to face life’s daily tests. We strengthen relationships and self-belief so that those who are aware of the problem can effectively detect it at an early stage in their home, school or the community they live in.
